Glug — Last updated: May 9, 2026

Glug ("the app", "we", "us") is a hydration tracking app. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

What data Glug collects

Glug does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All data created in the app is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.

Specifically, Glug stores the following on-device using Apple's UserDefaults and App Group container:

Third-party services

Glug uses Apple's in-app purchase system (StoreKit) for subscription billing. All payment processing is handled by Apple. Glug does not see or store your payment information.

Glug uses RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat may receive a pseudonymous device identifier to verify subscription status. No personally identifiable information is shared. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Glug does not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking frameworks.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Glug schedules local notifications on-device. These notifications are generated by the app and are never sent to external servers.

HealthKit

Glug does not access or write to Apple Health / HealthKit.

Children's privacy

Glug is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Data deletion

All app data can be deleted at any time via Settings → Reset All Data in the app, or by uninstalling the app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and note the change in the App Store release notes.
